Of course! Before taking on any new dog I will come to your home and have a chat with you about my services and what you require. This is a chance for you and your dog to get to know me and for me to find out all about your dog and their little quirks that make him or her so special! I will complete a new client form with you and also signpost you towards my insurance details, Enhanced DBS, qualifications etc. This visit is of course free of charge.
I follow advice and guidance from the local council, The Dogs Trust and The Animal Welfare Act. I ensure I always have quality engagement with your dog and under supervised control. Our insurance also covers a maximum number of dogs so you can be assured that everything is covered.
All dogs are collected and dropped of securely in our van in individual crates. The walk starts when we reach our destinations so your dog may be out of the house close to 90 minutes.
No. Some clients give me a spare set of keys which I hold on to. Your keys are locked away with no personal information on them linking them to your house. Other clients leave a set of keys for me in a safe place. Should your keys be lost or stolen I will inform you immediately and replacement of keys and a change of locks is covered by my insurance.
At the end of the walk, photos and updates will be posted on the website. You will also receive direct communication from the walker to alleviate any concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information at the end of your walk.
We will select a variety of walks to keep the dogs interested. We like to use open spaces to run and different hard surfaces to maintain the claws but not placing too much abrasion on the pads.
Generally yes, but only with your written consent. I never take dogs off the lead for the first couple of walks so I can test that they will come back to me, and only when I am comfortable that they will, will I then take them off.
No. All dogs are assessed to see if a positive walking relationship can be achieved.
Unfortunately bitches in season are unable to join the group walks. Please contact us to seek alterative solutions.
Reactive dogs will be unable to participate in group walks but can access individual walks.
Puppies usually need to go out about every 3-4 hours, so I can pop in twice during the day for 20 minutes to let out, feed, cuddle and play! I will also clean up any accidents. Once your puppy is fully vaccinated I can help them with his or her socialisation and introduce them to other dogs in a controlled manner.

In the unlikely event that your dog falls ill or is injured, I will make contact with you immediately and also take your dog straight to a vet. We also carry a first aid kit with us at all times and one is left in the van. I also have completed the Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care.
The rule of thumb is 'There's no such thing as bad weather only unsuitable clothing!'
In the unlikely event that walking could be hazardous to the walker or the dogs then alternative arrangements will be made.
Unfortunately we do not offer weekend or Bank Holiday walks.
Yes I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary. I can show you my insurance documents when we first meet to run through the comprehensive coverage.
I appreciate that changes are sometimes unforeseeable. We would ask you give us as much notice as possible as there may be other clients who could use that space. A 50% fee may be applied if the cancellation is too late to offer the space to another owner.
Please go to the contact page and send an email with your preferences. New clients will have the introductory meet and greet before walks can commence.
Welcome! Please check out the website and services we can offer.
